As for the DVD,the quality was disappointing. Directed by the great art/production designer William Cameron Menzies.his 2nd film shot in 3D,the first being Invaders from Mars.although questions remain whether Invaders was designed for 3D.The Maze stars Richard Carlson,who returns to a mystery shrouded family castle in the scottish highlands.Followed there later by his fiance,a dark family secret is eventually revealed.The Maze is an atmospheric thriller with an odd plot twist that I enjoyed seeing originally as a teen.Menzies production talents elevate the strange goings-on to an enjoyable 80 minute experience.
